I know, I just wrote a ridiculously long blog and now I am writing another one. I didn't want to include this in the last one because I felt like it deserved it's own post!
Drumroll please.........
DAVID SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!
Now, I am sure it is a one time thing, for now... but he did! I ended up feeding him early last night, around 9:30. (We usually feed around 10 or 10:30). After eating he went right to sleep, so I put him down. I just knew he was going to wake up around 1 or 2 to eat. Well, I woke up to hear him squirming and do you know what time it was????? It was 5:30!!!! He slept from 9:30-5:30! I jumped out of bed and was so excited... it's amazing how much better you feel after getting a full night of sleep!
Well, I'm sure we will be back to waking up once a night tonight, but I just had to brag!

Congrats Jessica! I loved reading your long post. I laughed out loud because I remember feeling EVERY thing you felt, especially the first night home and when my mom left to go back to Montgomery. By the way, David is precious. Enjoy every minute. They really do grow up fast!

I'm so glad he was so good his first few weeks. Everyone has their own different challenges and has to figure out how to handle them. I love the poopy diaper pictures! Hilarious.
congrats! congrats! that's a huge accomplishment for him to sleep through the night (for you too!), no matter how many times it happens in a row! yeah! our 1st night was very similar...i think it's the reality of them getting used to this big world! what a change they experience in the first 48 hours! david is so handsome and looks so happy! i'm afraid that wont be the last time matthew gets covered in baby yuckiness! i know you are both doing a wonderful job! please keep blogging! i've been wanting to see pictures! i cant wait to show them to my mom! hugs to you and matthew!

That is so unfair! I have one that still does not sleep through the night and she is almost 13 months! You are so lucky!
How beautiful is he!?!? I loved reading how the first few weeks have been. I hope that sweet boy keeps sleeping through the night for you. I can tell you are totally in love with him!
