Well, it happened... my baby brother got married. He married a wonderful girl name Alexia Hammock. She is from Red Bay, Alabama (pretty small town in case you had never heard of it). They met at Mississippi State and dated about a year and a half. She is really great for Michael. She makes him happy and keeps him balanced. They got married in St. Simons, Georgia on September 7. We were a little worried about the weather because hurricane Hannah was threatening to make an appearance, but with all the prayers, Hannah held off. She skipped right over us and the weather was perfect!
For this trip, we decided to make it a mini vacation. The whole family left on Tuesday and came back on Sunday. It was so nice. This was David's first "real" trip (besides the lake) and let me tell you... I felt like I packed my house. It was not an easy task, but we made it happen.
We were blessed to be able to fly...and thank goodness, because I couldn't imagine driving 6 hours with a 2 1/2 month old. The week was great... the company was great... St. Simon's was wonderful... and the wedding was perfect!
Here are a few pictures from the week!
David's first plane flight. He actually did great!

He is spitting up ALL the time...so he now wears bibs bigger than him!

He is so vain!

Alex and me playing in the doll house.

David and me in our hotel room, before dinner. Notice how his stuff has taken over!

The three musketeers!

Praise Baby DVD's kept David occupied on the trip.

Our family at the wedding. Yes, David was the honorary ring bearer. So cute! Neither of the pictures are that great of us, but they are the only ones we have.

"Big" consoling David on the plane ride home.

It was a wonderful wedding...and vacation!
