Last week we celebrated my dad's ("Big") birthday. The whole family went to the Country Club to eat dinner for "Lobster Night." It was, if you know my family then you know what I am talking about, a typical "Henig" dinner. Total chaos. I love my family...we are so close, but we are about as open and comfortable with each other as we can be. There aren't many manners that go around and things that are thought are usually said. Don't get me wrong...we are sane and we aren't crazy...trust me...we are pretty entertaining. There is never a dull moment. For starters, we are eating in the "MAIN DINING ROOM" where a coat is required. Well, guess which family shows up with no coat. Yes, that would be ours. But it's okay because Dad says it is. :) Next, who is the family that shows up with a 6 week old, who has colic, and screams from the hours of 9-11 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. Yes, that would be us again!

I am making this sound like it was a disaster. Surprisingly, it wasn't. It was very fun and, of course, entertaining. There were many events that occured in the three hour dinner and I must give you an idea of what they were.
Well, for starters, Dad turned 54 and managed to make it through the night, happy. My dad's best friend, Ward (the "older" gentleman in the pictures) got a little too drunk and decided to serenade the entire "MAIN DINING ROOM."

David was actually VERY GOOD!!!!!! I was so proud of him... we all passed him around, but he was great. He normally is very good, but this was his prime "witching" hour and he did just fine.

We got some great pictures of my sweet grandmother, Nana, and her boyfriend eating their lobsters.

I got my first, yes, sadly, my first, picture with David, by myself. It wasn't very good, but I got it!

Oh, and the week before, we celebrated my grandmother's birthday. At the same place, the "MAIN DINING ROOM," without our coats, with our same loud family and with a 5 week old! Here are some pictures from that night.
